A sport that can teach you that perfection isn't always possible is a sport that I've grown to love. Being part of a team, each working together for a common goal and forming a family type atmosphere helps you grow to be a complete person. Baseball has been that game for me since I began playing Little League. Through my years playing I have learned to control my emotions, be positive and strive to be a good teammate and friend.
In October of 2017 I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes which dropped my weight and changed the way I eat and live. I am determined to not let it stop me and I've continued to work hard, build stamina and move forward every day. I believe I have a strong work ethic, a desire to improve and an understanding of my role as a team player. I'm looking forward to a new journey in college, competing with a team, advancing my education and becoming a positive person throughout my life.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
