When I first started to play the game I love, I was 5. That seems to be a very long time ago since I am now starting my high school career. When I started playing baseball, it was very fun. That is so since the fact that I was playing with my friends and I had my dad as my coach. Most recently however, I have had a more difficult road than most of my peers. During this past winter (2017), I fractured my tibia, dislocated my left knee and had a tear in my patella tendon. That accident caused me to missed the school season and most of the summer season. Being the active person that I am and not wanting to miss out on being around the guys and the game, I asked the coach of the school team if I could still be a part of the team. I was ecstatic he said yes and thus I became the manager and did the scorebook just so I could stay around the game I love.
During physical therapy for the next 16 weeks, I was the most determined anyone in the world could have been just because I was missing what I loved to do. Another aspect that carried me to get back to 100% even faster was the support that came from my family and my friends. I knew they were with me when they came over and played board games with me since that was the only thing that I could do. During my next years of high school, I want to become a member of National Honor Society. For baseball, I want to become an All-County player, and also play in the all-star game. However, the most important aspect about what made me the man that I am is my family and what they taught me. This is not only through sports but through the courtesy and respect I give to all.
