Wyatt Gray '23 Recruiting Profile

I became interested in baseball when I was 3 years old. My mother was reading a book to me about an amazing shortstop and ever since then, I wanted to be like that shortstop. When I got to high school, I switched over to a private college preparatory school. The community I was surrounded by every day transformed me into a more responsible and mature person on and off the field. My school's motto, “men for and with others”, can be applied to school and baseball. Ever since switching schools, my leadership skills have improved and I have become more selfless. As tough as baseball is, when I go 0 for 4, I still get up off the bench and cheer my teammates on. My academic goals for high school and college is to maintain my 4.0 GPA and to challenge myself with advanced placement classes.
