I can and will play anywhere you put me on the field. I've played third, short, left, center and I pitch. I've also caught. I currently play right field for my high school team. I have had the pleasure of coaching Sam Franco, for the 2017 Clarkstown Senior High School, South baseball team located in West Nyack, New York. Sam enrolled back into the Clarkstown school district after transferring from St. Josephs Regional High School, located in Montvale , New Jersey.

In my 20 years of experience of coaching high school baseball, I would be hard-pressed to find a harder working, enthusiastic, better team mate and passionate student athlete. Our teams success this baseball season was directly correlated with Sam being part of our program. Sam’s energetic personality combined with his hard nosed play became infectious to his teammates. I have never seen a harder worker during a practice than Sam. This work ethic translated into a successful season on the field for Sam. He was a first team All League selection, Coaches Award recipient, and winner of the Viking Award. His .356 batting average, 15 RBI, .445 OBP, and .508 SLG landed him in the top three for all major offensive categories. As a right fielder, Sam showed off his athleticism by flashing gold glove caliber defense to go along with his strong arm.

Sam has been an asset to my team. I look forward to another year with him. With Sam as a role model for the other athletes in our program, we can only looks too continually get stronger as a program.
