  • Physical: Highly-athletic, seasoned 5-foot-10, 170lb frame. 6.63 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: RHH - Shoulder-width, hand-tempoed start with natural feel in the box. Medium-effort and very efficient, initiating the swing with a lift and replace stride, as the barrel worked through a slightly uphill path into the zone. Lagged the bat-head with thump at impact, connecting to the ground with lower half involvement. Recorded a T97 mph bat-exit velocity (via Trackman) at a 55% line drive rate during his round with mature swings to all quadrants. Posted a 64% hard hit rate for consistent doubles power from gap to gap; ready to hit at the next level. Defensively: The primary backstop featured a calm left knee down receiving operation as the glove-hand found the pocket consistently. Pop times ranged from 1.94-1.95 absorbing throws with twitch out of the stance to the target (right, left, release, 80 mph arm). Impact defender that knows how to handle a staff. Moved to the outfield with some gliding actions and CF projection, gathered cleanly off his left with downward momentum, and got rid from an OTT slot (87 mph arm).

  • Physical: Super athletic, strong 5-foot-10, 170lb frame with feel for his body in all phases. 6.83 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance at shoulder-width as the hands operated slightly higher to start. Utilized a gradual leg-lift stride to initiate the bat head through a slightly uphill, accurate path with good connection in the swing. Athletic at-bats, manipulating to each quadrant pitched into for efficiency and big-time results up to T97 mph bat-exit velocity (via Trackman) during his round. Natural middle of the order feel moving forward; posted a 344 foot batted ball distance with doubles power and 50% hard hit rate that carried over to mature, impactful swings in game action. Good timing and quick trigger allowing for better reads in ball flight and making for a tough out in any count. Defensively: The primary backstop featured a calm, left-knee down receive with a soft, easy glove hand showing advanced actions in the crouch. Pop times ranged from 1.93-2.03 staying under the pitch and gaining momentum through the throw; exploded on-time with replaceable feet towards the target, releasing quickly from a fast, H ¾ slot using a moderate arm circle (78 mph arm strength, fluid, accurate on bag). Then showed defensive flexibility moving to the outfield and handling himself with grace and good reads off the bat. Kept the chest downhill and fielded off the left side, funneling smoothly and releasing from a H ¾ slot with plenty of carry (87 mph arm, can play any three OF spots).

  • 2/15/20 to 2/15/20
  • Jaime had an average exit velocity of 84.7 mph and had a peak exit velocity of 89.5 mph at the combine and showed excellent bat speed of 67.5mph, coupled with above average on plane efficiency while hitting 12 of 12 balls hard according to FlightScope ball tracking standards. Jaime really found the barrel to the baseball consistently, a number that correlates directly to how high his on plane efficiency is with a plane score of 63 out of 80 well above the average for his peers. Coupled with a high rotational acceleration score of 12.3 g’s of force, Jaime excels in two important areas of the swing profile that make up an exciting high school sophomore. One of the areas that he can improve right now is in his early connection score. At 70 degrees, he’s 20 degrees flatter than optimal positioning when he begins to bring his bat into the hitting zone, a number that reflects how much extra work it takes to bring the barrel around and get on plane with the coming pitch with his bat. Jaime’s flat bat to start contribute to the flat plane he takes to the ball which in turn is resulting in less balls driven to the outfield and more hard ground balls and line drives. If he’s able to get his bat raised up closer to 90 degrees at early connection, he would most likely see more power and balls driven into the gaps. Staying efficiently on plane won’t be a problem for him, he can afford to lose a degree or two there to make up for the early connection he’s missing and it will all result in an even better swing profile. Jaime is a prospect and could be a draft prospect sooner than later. Jon Moscot

  • OFP (C): 46 | OFP (CF): 48 -- Has feel for the barrel; creates a path that stays in the zone. Line drive contact with a feel to go to the opposite side. Gap power. Short, quick arm action, loose and free. Has strength in the throws, but needs to keep throws down. Moves well in the field. Has potential to be an above average runner in time. Will be a well rounded player. See him as a D1 prospect. Adam Czajkowski
