Kaden Smith '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to continue playing baseball while I further my academics.  I was recognized by my coach and teammates with the heart and soul award, which was given for being the hardest worker on the field and in the classroom as well as being voted best teammate by my peers.  This award means more than any other to me because it recognizes the hard work I have put in and being recognized by your peers is very satisfying.  I am truly humble and grateful for their support.  I will bring this work ethic to my next school and strive to be the best I can while also encouraging my teammates to do the same.  I have always played SS or 2nd, but my goal is to play.  I don't care if I bat 1st or 9th, play SS or OF, I will do everything in my control to earn a spot on the field to help my team win.
