Cohen Payne '26 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to play baseball at the highest possible level!  I know that very few people play collegiate sports, so whatever level I am fortunate enough to play, I will work hard to excel for my coaches and my teammates.  

I'm a good candidate for any team due to my laid-back demeanor, but tireless work ethic.  There are no former teammates or coaches that would say a negative thing regarding my attitude or ability to lead on and off the field.

I'm different from other recruits because once you meet me, you remember me!  I have been raised to always show respect (even when it isn't warranted), honor my mother and father, and know that God has given me an ability to play the game I love dearly.  My athletic and academic ability are similar in that I excel in both.  While attending a private Christian school, I have maintained over a 3.5 GPA while challenging myself in Honors and AP courses.
