September 2014My collegiate goals and aspirations are simple: I would like to attend a good college or university, earn my degree, play collegiate baseball, and then play major league baseball.
What makes me a good candidate for any team is my knowledge of baseball; the skill set I offer as a left-handed pitcher, first baseman, and outfielder; my work ethic; and my enthusiasm. I am a team player. I have been grounded in the fundamentals of baseball and know how to play my positions. I have good situational awareness both on and off the baseball field. I also take responsibility for my actions both on and off the field.
What makes me different from other recruits is my sound character, athletics, and academics. I take baseball seriously, and do not fool around or participate in horseplay on or off the playing field. Athletics are meant to be both enjoyable and instructive, and I relish the opportunity to learn as much as I can about baseball, while enjoying my time playing it. Academically, I work hard to complete my assignments on time. As a student- athlete, I understand that academics come first, and have never failed to keep my grades high.
I am the baseball candidate you are seeking.
