Lukas Schramm '22 Recruiting Profile

I have played baseball since I was 4 years old.  At 6, my coach asked for someone to try on the gear and sit behind the plate.  I knew very shortly after that catching was fun and I was good at it.  As I grew older, it gave me an opportunity to show off my arm strength and to exercise my leadership skills.  Now I split my time between catcher and center field as my speed has proven to be a huge asset too.  All of this has lead to a great love for the game.

I have also been very fortunate to play with other atheltes that are older than me.  In fact I lead the Apex High School JV Summer team in offensive production as a rising 8th grader.  I have also been fortunate enough to be selected to play up with the TPA 2021 showcase team.  I am always up for the challenge.  My goal is not to stop, even after I reach the top!  I love this game!
