I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old. Within the last 5 years I have pushed myself to try and play collegiate baseball. Now being older I believe this will give me a great college experience along with great life lessons. But I'm also motivated by others doubts in me playing in college.
I have pretty good control over my fastball, slider, sinker mix. I see high spin rate ranging from 2100-2300 on my fastball and sinker and 2500-2700 on my slider. Although my velocity isn't nearly as high I as I want it to be I still find success on the mound. For my Club Team I tend to go deep into games as a starter and for school ball I was used as a mop up pitcher to get out of tough situations. I'm Mentally tough and try to be one of the hardest workers on the field, in the classroom, and in the weightroom.
In the classroom, I have had to work extra hard to boost my GPA as much as possible due to a rough Freshman and Sophomore year. I truly have turned around in the classroom. From my struggles I have become very good at time management and limiting procrastination.
I want to attend college where I can see how far I can go within academics and on the field. I am open to any offers. I hope to become a great teammate, student, athlete, and to make my family proud.
