Brandon Tuthill '20 Recruiting Profile

In my opinion, the end goal in life is to find something that you enjoy doing every single day, and to approach it without limits to be the very best at it. My name is Brandon Tuthill, I’m a catcher, and I’m determined to play ball at the highest levels. Although I share a common dream amongst other young men my age, I separate myself from others by playing each game with incomparable preparation and of course, heart. Through baseball, I have learned how to be a leader, how to care for people, and how to work together to achieve something great. If you ask my pitchers about me, they will tell you how they’ve never had a catcher as trusting and focused on their performance as me. I continue to work endlessly in the gym, on the field, and most importantly, in the classroom.  I’m proud of my GPA , and you can expect nothing less than that same effort, day in and day out. While my preference is to attend a college that offers Communication/Journalism as a Major, I am willing to explore any university that can place me on that path. 

Every year, I identify an opportunity in my game to focus on for the offseason. I’m always seeking to learn and to grow. I am very coachable, and bring a contagious positive attitude to my team and my coaches. If given the opportunity, my commitment to you is that I will bring the entire package every day. I will give all that I have to the team while making the necessary sacrifices to maintain academic excellence.
