Dylan Shubert '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8" Catcher from Kannapolis, NC. I have started catching on the Northwest Cabarrus High School junior varsity team, and was named the team captain for a year before transferring to AL Brown. Since being at AL Brown I became their starting catcher for both JV and also given the opportunity to start on Varsity. Since the beginning of my high school career I have maintained a Steller GPA and earned an 18 on my Planned ACT, then scored a 21 on the ACT. That being said, I am looking for an institution where I can fit the needs of both my athletic and academic career. Being that I would like to pursue a degree in the field of Marketing, I am looking for an institution that has a good reputation in the field. However, from a geographic standpoint, I would prefer to attend school in the Southeast region of the United States. I say this particular region because I would like to be around my family, but also be able to enjoy college.  The southeast is not my only choice, for I am open to all regions if it means continuing my baseball career. My athletic goal for college is mainly to play at the college level of play, also, I want to be part of a team that I can impact and work hard for and push us to be the best team on the field at all times.
