Jacob Cabaniss '21 Recruiting Profile

I fell in love with the game of baseball at a very early age.  I have played year-round since I was 8 years old and been very fortunate to play for coaches who do it the "right way".  I have been on the same travel team with fellow players and coaches since I was 9 and have watched each of us grow and mature into better baseball players and even better young men.

I have a strong desire to play college baseball, regardless of what level that may be.  I will bring consistency to any team that is willing to give me an opportunity to play at the next level.  While I am not the most vocal teammate, I have always led by example by encouraging my teammates and not allowing my emotions to take over. 

It is my desire to be able to perform well enough in the classroom to be able to get some financial assistance for college.  I currently attend a private, Christian school where academics are very rigorous.  I have no doubt I'll be prepared for college from an academic and time-management perspective.

I look forward to the recruiting process and the opportunity to meet many different college coaches.
