Nehemiah "Neo" Drew '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nehemiah "Neo" Drew. I am a Senior at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School in Raleigh NC, class of 2023. I currently have a 3.52 GPA . I am a left handed outfielder /1st baseman and I also bat left handed. I currently play centerfield for the Varsity baseball team at my high school as well as for the Metro Carolina Reds out of Charlotte, NC I was also named Cap 7 All Conference 1st Team for the 2021 HS season, 4A Greater Neuse All Conference Team and Eastern Wake Invitational All Tournament  for the 2022 HS season. I served as Captain of my varsity baseball team this year, a title that I was honored to have and that I take very seriously.

I starting playing at the age of 7 and fell in love with game. I started with the City of Raleigh, Parks and Recs with my current High School Coach as my coach.  I then moved to the well known West Raleigh League in Raleigh, NC then to MVP travel team out of Wake Forest, NC,  Zone Select out of Rolesville , NC,  Precision Showcase Baseball, Greenville NC, MoCo Nationals All American Scout Team, Rockville, MD and currently the Metro Carolina Reds, Charlotte, NC. My experiences with these teams, the good and the bad, have helped to me to grow as a person and a player.  

My most recent position stats are as follows:  OF Velocity: 85 and Exit Velocity: 91 and running a 6.66 time. 

I believe working hard is the key to success. I have found success in baseball but I have also had some struggles.  These struggles have taught me valuable lessons and driven me forward. The love and support of my family and coaches  push me to work hard to make them proud.
