Wade Jenkins '22 Recruiting Profile

My goals are always being a good citizen and son; maintaining top grades to enhance opportunities for the future; and, being the best baseball player I can be. I have been a varsity starter the past two years in High School and aspire to do likewise all four-years of college. I listen and accept recommendations and guidance and strive to improve my game in all facets.

It seems like I grew up on the baseball field and my step-father coaches baseball and ensures I get all available training and practice I can get; and, my mother considers the baseball field her “happy place.” I am passionate about the game and although I love playing any position, particularly the infield, my first-choice is catcher where I consider myself the team leader and chief encourager regardless of score. We are a team, and you will see my leadership through encouragement on the field.

Additionally, during my limited free time, I work to save for college, hunt, fish and spend time with my family and friends.
