Personal Statement
My name is Cole Edwards, I am a high school student athlete and have aspirations to play baseball in college. I would like to eventually play at the major league level and feel that going to college and earning my degree is very important. I am a great role model for not only the players on my JV baseball team, but also to the younger baseball players in my community. I have continued to better myself throughout my baseball career and have adapted well into whatever situation I have been put in. I would like every college baseball coach to know that if i am given the chance to play for you I will give you everything I have to you and your program. I will put everything on the line to win you baseball games and I will never give up on the baseball team or you. I am different from the other recruits because I am not just here for me, I am here for my handicapped cousin who everyday teaches me to never give up and always keep pushing no matter how hard it gets. I want to also raise awareness for autism and plan to promote awareness in every game that I play. My cousin has never given up on me and I will not give up on him. When a college signs me, they not only get me, they will also get the biggest baseball fan in the world my cousin.
