Personal Statement
Persistence, consistence and reliability are three qualities that describe my athletics, academics and character. Every coach, teacher and counselor will affirm this. As a four year, two sport, Varsity athlete playing baseball and basketball I have maintained an excellent GPA, discipline record and have achieved athletic honors at the state, city, league and school level. I broke the school record for the highest batting average (.495), and the most hits. This helped propel my team into winning the 2021 State of Ohio State Baseball Championship. Other athletic honors include: 2021 First Team All-State of Ohio, 2021 Greater Cincinnati First Team All Star, 2020 & 2021 First Team Miami Valley Conference, MVC Conference leader hits, stolen bases and doubles, Captain Boys Varsity Basketball Team, 2021 Basketball All Conference Honorable Mention. Academically, I have earned the Miami Valley Conference All Academic award consistently for both baseball and basketball. I grew up in the nationally recognized Midland Baseball Organization since age 7 and I am on the Midland Redskins roster. The top Midland Redskins coaches have helped with my development and baseball fundamentals since I started playing. Consistently people are surprised at my speed for a big guy; this shows up in the number of bases I steal and goes well with my natural ability to track balls excellently from the outfield. If a team needs a gritty, hardworking guy that will be the first to get there and last to leave, then I'm your player. My grandpa played basketball for University of Cincinnati, my dad played baseball for Notre Dame, and my brother played football for University of Dayton.
