The people who have influenced me the most in my life are my family and friends. These are the people who push me the hardest to do the best I can at everything I do. They are also the people who are always here for me when I am feeling bad about something. Some other people who have had a big influence on me are my teammates and coaches. My coaches have taught me how to be a good sport about everything and have also helped turn me into the young man I am today.
I have had many opportunities to be coached by several semi-professional and professional past and current players. Jimmy Summers has been my hitting coach since I was 8 years old. Jimmy played college ball at Malone College. He also played for the Croatian National team and is now the coach for them. Jimmy is also the current head trainer at Playball Sports Academy. My premiere travel team coach for the last three years is Jonathan Kountis. Jonathan played college ball for Ohio Dominican. He then went on and played for the Kingsport Mets and Vancouver Canadians (part of the Toronto Blue Jays). I also took catching lessons from Paul Hoover. Paul played for the Tampa Bay Rays, Marlins, and Phillies. He is currently Catching Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Rays.
My travel team, the Akron A’s won the Diamond League Tournament in 2017. We also came in first place for the Diamond League regular season in 2017. We have played in high level regional tournaments for the last three years. Some of these include the Buckeye Elite Tournament, University of Louisville Mid-South Tournament, and Best of Ohio Showcase.
