Personal Statement

I have had a baseball or basketball in my hand ever since I can remember. Being on the field is where I feel the most confident. Every season I set personal goals for myself and my team, and I strive to achieve them and exceed them. I am determined to rise to the challenges that coaches set for me. I am stoic by nature, and this benefits me by keeping my emotions in check and moving on to the next play. I also lead by example through my work ethic and determination for success. My goal is to use my strengths and skills to play at the next level.

All-In Membership-Pittsburg
11/14/2021 - All-In Membership - Pittsburgh, PA Grady is a thin, lean, 2-way player who plays 2B and OF. In the INF, Grady has active feet, clean hands, and smooth actions. He moves well to the ball, he fields athletically, and his exchange is clean, with a quick/accurate arm to his target. Added arm strength and not standing vertically when throwing will help abilities at 2B improve. In the OF, Grady has fluid actions, active feet, and he takes good routes and angles. He fields squarely, his exchange is clean, and he throws accurately to his cut off man. Catching higher, and playing more behind the ball will help improve OF skills. At the plate, Grady has an aggressive swing, he loads well, and his swing is level. He makes hard/consistent contact and uses his lower body. Solid hitting will further improve with added strength and a more direct swing path.
