- Batted .500 (2 for 4) with a single and a triple in two games. Scouting Blog Article " Christian Knight (2023, C, Concord Township, OH) showed well on both sides of the ball today. Was solid behind the dish, blocked every ball, was quick and agile back there. Displayed consistent accurate throws. Swung the well, crushed the ball to right field for a triple. Ran well, was smooth around the bases."

- 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Scouting Report - Christian seems to get better each time we see him. He had an impressive showing at the Pre-Season AA Tournament showing 88 mph raw arm strength, throwing a 2.08 to 2B and showing his athleticism with a time of 7.13 in the 60. He is a polished receiver who is good on balls in the dirt and his throws have carry to 2B and are accurate. At the plate he swings from both sides with a bit more power on display from the left side this weekend. He has natural rhythm both ways, is balanced, and has good hands that deliver the barrel with consistency. Overall, Christian is an exciting 2023 prospect with an excellent profile - an athletic, switch-hitting catcher.

- Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic - Baseball Factory Scouting Report - Christian continues to shine when he steps onto the diamond and did so again at the Arizona Fall Classic. He is a vocal leader and takes charge on the field. Behind the plate, feet are aggressive and active as he works in-line to his target, through a clean transfer/exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.10 with accuracy/carry (82 mph velocity) on his throws. Quick lateral actions and + athleticism help him to center pitches in the dirt, blocking and keeping everything in front. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. He has good zone awareness and doesn't swing at much out of the zone. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing with the baseball jumping off the bat when centered as he works to stay inside the ball to utilize all fields. He battles at the plate and proved to be a tough out going 5 for 10 with 2 doubles. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and a leader behind the dish. Knight is a gamer who leaves it all on the field.
