I am a 6’ 2”, 185 pound, senior from Pickerington, Ohio. My primary position is catcher, but I am also proficient at both corner infield positions. I currently attend Pickerington High School North. My freshman and sophomore years I attended Fairfield Christian Academy. I was the varsity catcher my freshman year, and received 2nd Team All-League honors. I missed my sophomore season due to a shoulder injury sustained in a non-baseball related activity. I transferred to Pickerington North for my junior year because I wanted to challenge myself playing at the highest level possible. Pickerington North has been one of the best programs in the State of Ohio for the past few years. They made it to the state finals in Division 1 as recently as 2009.
I currently have a 3.98 GPA and an ACT score of 29. I currently am undecided upon a major, but some possibilities include sports management, physical therapy, or athletic training. I am looking to play baseball at the highest level possible and therefore I am open to exploring opportunities at all divisions.
I am willing to play at just about any college, whether it is public or private. In an ideal situation would be close enough to home for my family to come and see me play. However, making a team is more important than geographic location.
I am very focused and determined on achieving the highest level possible for myself both academically and athletically. I am driven to improve in every facet of the game through hard work and determination. I lead by example, am a student of the game, and am very coachable.
