Kevin Schaaf '20 Recruiting Profile

I want to earn a college degree and play at the highest level of baseball possible.  In order to accomplish this, I realize it will take a lot of hard work and dedication. I have learned this through my parents and older siblings guidance as well as my close connection to God.  I work very hard to excel in the classroom.  I have a busy work schedule and class schedule that demands me to manage my time well.  I work out three times a week along with practicing with my team twice a week which has taught me to manage my time both academically and athletically.  I am looking for a school that has strong academics and a support staff to advise me in my degree program while having interest in my academic success.  I am a player that is coachable and wants to continually learn to become a better person and baseball player. One of my strengths is my mental approach to the game. I enjoy competition and want to be challenged at the highest level.  This will give me experience and strategies that will not only benefit my performance but me personally as I develop as a young man and with my relationship with Christ.  I want to make a difference.
