Jake Stephens '25 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play competitive college baseball and earn my business degree. I am looking for the right college that will help prepare me for life after college, whether that be in baseball and/or business. I lead by example, am a good teammate, am coachable, put in the the time and sacrifice to meet my goals, and love getting out of this game what I have put into it. I put team goals above any person accomplishments and rise to the occasion regardless of the situation. As for baseball skills, I'm right handed throwing catcher who is able to hit for power and average. I drive in runs, am aggressive early in counts, and rarely strike out. I'm a complete catcher. I excel at receiving, blocking, holding runners on, throwing out baserunners, and helping my pitchers command the strike zone and steal strikes.
