Jake Stephens '25 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play high level collegiate college baseball and earn my business degree. I am looking for the right college that will help prepare me for life after college, whether that be in baseball and/or business. I lead by example, am a good teammate, am coachable, put in the the time and sacrifice to meet my goals, and I love getting out of this game what I have put into it. I put team goals above any person accomplishments.  As for baseball skills, I'm right handed throwing catcher who is able to hit for power and average. I drive in runs, and I'm aggressive early in counts. I also consider myself an excelled two strike hitter. I'm a complete catcher. I excel at receiving, blocking, holding runners on, throwing out baserunners, and helping my pitchers command the strike zone and steal strikes. I also play both corner outfield positions and pitch. When I pitch, I command the strike zone and keep hitters off balance. I am not intimidated and often rise to the occasion in high pressure situations.
