Personal Statement
I was fortunate when I was younger, to have great coaches that taught me so much about being an athlete, a teammate, and a good person during my time playing little league baseball, youth basketball and soccer. In the four years I played club baseball, I learned I had something to offer my team and my coach, both in play and attitude. I take great pride in being a coachable player, and excellent teammate. I know the value in what you can learn from your coaches and teammates, and work hard to put 110% into everything I do, on and off the field. I would love the opportunity to continue playing baseball beyond high school, while attending a school that will help me reach my academic and career goals.
During the past few years, I have had the privilege of being part of an excellent baseball program. We have a huge amount of talent, and an outstanding coaching staff, that has helped me grow in all areas of play. I have had the opportunity to learn and play many positions, and think my work ethic, and dedication to get better every day, could benefit most programs. I think of myself as someone with good character, and work hard in my classes as well. I think my character traits will reflect well on both my team and school.
