Teague Zimmer '25 Recruiting Profile

I love everything about being a baseball player - practicing, going to the cage, working out, throwing, watching and learning, driving in runs, the camaraderie of being on a team, everything. I am a pretty good student.  I work hard and I have a solid GPA to show for it. I like learning and improving and enjoy being challenged to push outside my comfort zone. This past year I have been focusing a lot more on my mental game. I have also been committed to improving my explosiveness and power and my metrics continue to improve in every key area. I consider myself a student of the game; I watch a lot of baseball and I'm always trying to apply new things I have learned on the field. My goals are to be a reliable teammate and playmaker, consistently perform as needed and keep having fun playing the game. In terms of college, I want to join a program that has a growth-mindset culture, where I'll have lots of opportunities to make an impact for my team, and that supports the student-athlete mindset.
