Sam Kulp '21 Recruiting Profile

My goals at the collegiate level are to play baseball and get into a college with the academics that I am interested in. I aspire to play Division 1 or Division 2 baseball, but I am open to all offers from any collegiate level school. My academics are one attribute that set me apart from most recruits, because I currently have a 4.111 weighted GPA while taking 3 Advanced Placement courses with an additional honors class.  I have also been a member of Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Class Council.  Additionally, I am a part of the National Honors Society and the National German Honors Society. I stand out character wise, because I am known to never lose my temper during a baseball game. I have also started varsity as a freshman and sophomore, with being captain of varsity last year as a sophomore. On the field I have gotten looks due to my speed, and have been told I am a top defensive outfielder with a strong arm. I also aspire to pitch in college and I am currently working on getting my velocity from low 80's to mid/high 80's by the end of my junior season.
