On or off the field I love to win. In all areas of my life, I am always trying to better myself. My love of the game began long before my years of little league at age six. Baseball is a love that I have been taught since I can remember, a passion shared with my siblings and I, thanks to our Dad. I began playing competitively in little league which then led to my years in a highly competitive club team. I continue to play for the same club team that I joined at age nine. The camaraderie and respect I share with not only my coaches but also my teammates is strong. I have progressed, improved and grown so much and I am eager to see what the next years hold for my growth as an athlete, student and person.
Academically, I have been taught with a classical education. My favorite subjects to study have been math, debate, and reading classical literature. To Kill a Mockingbird and Johnny Tremain are two of my favorite books. I have worked hard to overcome dyslexia, which has taught me perseverance. I volunteer my time in our church by serving the youth and a passion of mine is traveling to and serving communities in impoverished countries via the organization, BoldHope. I surround myself with the best people that I can, who share my goals. I want to be a leader on the field and in my personal life. I look forward to college, where I can further my education and continue growing as an athlete. I want to find a college that allows me to play baseball at the highest level and that also provides me with a great atmosphere. An atmosphere that helps me grow as a person and sets me up for career success. I look forward to making my college and my family proud!
