Torrie Collins '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Torrie Collins.  I am 14 at the moment and am a Sophmore in high school.  I am an outgoing student.  I never put myself first in anything.  I help around my community and my school by doing activities to help others.  I make decent grades in school, I make an average of a 2.67 GPA but that is throughout my freshman year.  I play  for my high school baseball team, i pitched 7 out of the 9 games and am 7-0 with my pitching record throughout high school.  We did not win section but we gave it out best attempt. I also play 2nd base and short stop. My parents are not the richest so it will take extra effort for me to help pay for my tuition.  So I am hoping to get a scholarship for baseball so it can help take some load off of my parents. If I do get a scholarship i pomise to bring character, athleticism, sportsmanship, and work ethic to that team. I am hoping to get into a close to home college. For example, WVU, Penn State, or PITT.
