Baseball has always been a huge component to my life. Playing since I was 6 years old has helped me to develop characteristics that would make me an asset to your team. Being a very competitive person, I have developed a strong work ethic that pushes me to practice and train on my own time. I want to compete to the best of my ability at all times and am willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win.
Since entering high school I have started at the varsity level for my school’s 5A baseball team. I get along great with my teammates as well as my coaches. I a very coachable kid and a team player that always wants to see the team succeed and am willing to do what I am asked by my coaches. I am a team leader and try to set an example for everyone else to follow. I not only want to see myself succeed, but also my teammates even if it means pushing them to work harder.
On the same note, I am always working hard in the classroom. I have put ample time into my studies. Since ninth grade I have been able to maintain over a 4.0 GPA and have been a part of National Honors Society.
I am looking for a school that can help me financially while allowing me to continue my career on the field and in the classroom. Playing at the collegiate level has been a dream of mine since a young age and I think I would make a valuable asset to any team.
