My goal for college is to graduate with a business major. I am looking forward to have a full college experience by playing collegiate baseball and focusing on completing my degree. I am a very competitive person making me an ideal candidate for your team. Even though I like to win, every game represents to me an opportunity to learn and execute the game situations that my coaches teach me at practice no matter what is the game outcome. I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old. I come from a family that loves sports and given my height and athletic abilities, I have played many sports but baseball provide me the tools and support I needed during my hardest moments in life. I developed a rare epileptic syndrome that affected my communication skills during my primary school grades. I had to adapt to a non-verbal world learning thru the American Sign Language. At that time, I found my Coach Carlos Delgado who took me in his baseball team. Baseball is a sport that integrates a lot of signals in the game and made easier to understand my coach, my peers, and the game. Playing baseball gave me an extracurricular activity that helped me focus and stay positive and while doing that I discovered every day that I was getting really good at playing baseball. I am very different from other recruits because I am committed in athletics and academics. I take everything that I do very seriously. In athletics, I always do my best and practice to be better every single time. In academics, I am determined to finish college and graduate so I can have the career that I desire. I am very positive and I intent to achieve my goals
