COLE GIBSON '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cole Gibson, I go to Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas. Behind the Lord and family, school is my number one priority. I have gotten all A's in high school so far except for one class which averaged at an 89. After school, of course, would be baseball. I started playing baseball when I was 5 years old and I am currently 18. Through baseball, I have learned a substantial amount of perseverance and teamwork, but most importantly leadership. I have always strove to be the leader of the team, the role model. Along with leadership, however, comes hard work. Derek Jeter once said, "There may be people who have more talent than you, but there's no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do - and I believe that." This really describes me because I can guarantee you I work harder than anybody else. I would love to take this attitude, character, and mental aspect of baseball to a prestigious college.
