I wasn’t the strongest or fastest growing up, so I had to do everything else better. It taught me the importance of out working everyone. Spending more time in the cages working on my swing, more time on the field working on my foot work and fielding, more time in the weight room getting stronger. Now as I’m getting bigger, stronger and faster, that hard work, that foundation is paying off and I’m passing up those who were blessed with early size and strength. My passion for the game and past slights burn deep as I continue to grow and push myself to get even stronger and faster.
