Santiago De La Garza '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello My name is Santiago De La Garza. I am a junior at McNeil High School and I am a utility player in my two-year career I have played every position for at least 6 innings. I am a contact hitter with a good eye. I feel like my history at catcher has helped my hitting a lot it has helped me with identifying the strike zone.  In school, I am strong in my math class and I am very analytical and in college, I would like to either study math or business some sort of path. due to my lack of height, I have faced adversity on the baseball field with being told that I can play the catcher position but I feel like I'm willing to do what it takes to be the best all-around player available for your team.
