A few years ago, a man who changed my life died, he turned me into who I wanted to be mentally and physically. He wasn't my father nor was he related to me, but, I would have done anything for his as well, as he would have done for me, we had a bond. He inspired me to go to college, to work my hardest, and that I deserve nothing in life, I have to work hard and take what is mine.
I was never the fast, the strongest, or even the smartest, I worked for mine. Baseball was a life style that taught me the necessities of how precious life really is, it taught me how to grow up, how to be a man. I have always been coach-able because, without my friend who passed away, this would still be a distant image. He pushed me to my breaking point and made me realize, this is a mental game, the game of life.
