My name is Mason Biedermann and my goal is to get an Engineering degree and play college baseball in the process. I value my academics, have a strong work ethic and aspire to be a leader on and off the field.
I consider my academic profile to be extremely important to me as I currently have a 4.85 weighted GPA and a 3.97 unweighted GPA. My class rank is 134 out of 556 which places me in the first quartile. I recently took the SAT and scored a 1370. I plan to retake the SAT as I feel I can improve my score. I have not taken the ACT yet but am scheduled to in July 2020.
As for the baseball aspect of my character, I play catcher for Vista Ridge High School and for a select organization called the Wilkinson Cardinals. The program is built for not only the development of athletes but also for good, young men to be productive members of society by being leaders to the people around them. I, as well as my coaches, feel I strive to do just that. Encouraging and supporting my teammates has been an expectation from my coaches that I have tried to fulfill. Thanks to my leadership skills and my outstanding attitude on and off the field, I have been chosen to be a representative of the High School Baseball Leadership Council. Teamwise, I do not want to be one of the only leaders but rather embody the type of leadership that will contribute to the success of the entire team.
