Dalton Carnes '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a very driven and ambitious person who strives to be the best I  can be at everything I do. I started playing sports at the age of 4.  I  have two older brothers who played sports and I looked up to them and  wanted to be like them but even better.  I play football, baseball and run track.  Sports have given me so much, they have pushed me to excel on  and off the field.  Being a part of a team is one of the most important  parts for me.    

 I have learned so much from playing sports;  commitment, responsibility, problem solving skills and how to control my emotions.  I consider myself a  leader which helps me with my sports and my classes.  I am a positive person who wants others to succeed, its  not just about me and my goals.  I am a true team player and I have been told that I am very coachable.  Self-discipline and time management help me to do my best athletically  and academically as well.  I am a good candidate for any team because I  will train hard and  prepare plus I will hold myself accountable and be completely dedicated. I love any opportunity to compete, whether it be on the  field or in the classroom.  I hope to be able to continue playing in college.  I would love to be a part of a team that will continue to help me define my character and choose a college that will help me get a top notch education.  As I look toward my future and my college career, I  believe studying Business will take me down the path I see for myself.   My family owns two businesses so my goal is to be able to contribute to  that one day.
