Turner Bannister '18 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember and has helped shape me into the young man I am today. To me, it' is about playing with heart and always giving 110% no matter what the circumstance. Being goal-driven and a hard worker is apart of my nature. I started setting goals for myself as a young boy and have continued this strategy throughout my career. 

My high school is well-known throughout the state of Texas for its excellent baseball program. I have been a starter on this team since my Freshman year and have had the opportunity to play in many playoff games including a run for the Texas State Finals. Although I am primarily a middle infielder, I have proven myself to be a dynamic player who has the ability to play every position on the field. 

I am an honor roll student who has been named Academic All District 3 times. I currently have a 3.4 GPA and am interested in pursing a business degree. I am constantly challenging myself to do my very best on and off the field .
