Joseph Camacho '12 Recruiting Profile

My goals and ambitions are to represent my family and to show the talent there is in El Paso.Im a determined person, a never give up attitude.I put in a hundred percent effort into everything I do on and off the field.I am 5"9, 155Ibs, right handed pitcher I throw 85-88mph consistently once in awhile getting up to 90mph.My pitches are 2 seam fastball, 4 seam fastball, curveball, knuckleball, circle change I am able to throw all of my pitches over the plate for a strike easily.My freshman year, I made first team all-district for second base, also the same year my traveling team went up to dallas for the usssa world series I pitched 14 innings of shut out ball and was named most valuable player.I am now invited to the usssa all-american games for 16U, Keith Jackson an ABR scout nominated me for this great opportunity.My goals after high school is to play college baseball, I am open to different types of schools just trying to get an opportunity to get my name out there.I have not yet decided what I desire to major in.If i do get my chance to play college ball I would do my hardest to play at the highest level possible, hopefully becoming a closer shutting down games in pressured situations giving my team a victory. I have grown on the field and am ready to play any position needed for my team to succeed. I have learned to respect all those around me in the game of baseball and life. Baseball is very much like every day life there are ups and downs and I have learned to continue to move forward no matter what obstacles are in front of me.
