Grant Skaggs '25 Recruiting Profile

I am R/R, 6'0", and 170lbs. My primary positions are 3B and 2B. I also can play LF/RF. I occasionally pitch but not as a starter. My coach is also now getting me into play some catcher. I love baseball and am always willing to practice and do whatever it takes to play at the highest level possible. My only sport is baseball so I take practice/games very seriously. I want to play college baseball and possibly take it to the next level. I work hard and focus when I am playing. I love sports so I would want to major in something related to the statistics/analytics of baseball. 

To begin my freshman 2022 season, I started at 3B on JV and occasionally played outfield and pitched. I was hitting in the 6-7th hole but that changed daily.

In my sophomore season, I had a very good year all around the field. I made my varsity pitching debut but played every game on JV. I started the year at 3B but moved to play 2B every game. I was hitting cleanup for almost the whole year and finished the year with a .360/.519/.405 stat line. I pitched a couple of times and even caught a game. I am playing for the Fort Worth Gators this summer and hoping to play 2B/3B while pitch a good bit. 

For 2023 summer, I consistently played 3B and P while occasionally 2B. I hit well and pitched well and made all tourney team for a couple tournaments.
