As a catcher, I've learned the importance of being both a leader and a listener. My position gives me a unique perspective on the game, and I take pride in knowing that I can see the whole field, allowing me to read situations quickly and make smart decisions that help the team stay grounded and focused under pressure. Working closely with pitchers, I've learned to adapt to their strengths and adjust in real-time, a skill that requires patience and trust, as a catcher I've learned the important value of staying present in every play. These lessons have made me reliable, adaptable, and most importantly, someone my team can count on.

What sets me apart is my approach to learning, both on and off the field. Academically, I'm a driven learner, always searching for ways to apply the same discipline from my academics to my training and skill development. The skills I've learned throughout my experience have strengthened both my commitment to the game and ability to lift others up, even in those challenging situations. I believe that being coachable and open-minded makes me an ideal teammate, and I'm excited to bring this perspective to the next level in college.
