My name is Dylan Dyer. I am currently a freshman in the Baseball Program for L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, Texas and was born on July 24, 2005 in Fort Worth, Texas. I am currently 5'11" and 140 lbs. and throw and hit right-handed. My primary position is Starting Pitcher, Catcher as my second and recently played as a Corner Outfielder. I can also play both infield corners.
I love the game of baseball; it is my passion. I first started playing baseball when I was 4 years old and have played every year since. I am very glad that my parents are so supportive of me when it comes to baseball and school. My current head coach in high school has coached for almost 30 years. He believes strongly in fundamentals, discipline, and our achievements in the classrooms. I have learned a lot from many great coaches and have been fortunate to have many private lessons from pitching and hitting coaches which I am still doing a few times a week. I also complete a physical performance course daily which includes drills in stretching, strength, movement and conditioning.
I know I have a lot of room for growth physically, mentally and with my skill set, and will continue to work toward being better in all three areas. It is my goal to earn a college scholarship through baseball and academics to help me achieve my dreams and keep my parents from having to pay for my school. I am a hard worker, I care, try, tell the truth and with God's help, will do everything in my power to meet my goals.
