Jackson (Jack) Johnson '21 Recruiting Profile

I have a goal to play Division 1 College Baseball and later play professionally.  I am a vocal leader on my Team and have a high baseball IQ.  What makes me different is that I am a switch hitting catcher with speed.  I can play 3rd base as well as Out Field and just want to be on the field wherever I can help my Team.  I work hard on my academics to make all A's if I can.  I understand how important grades are in my baseball career.  I am involved in my community and my church.  I have gone on my church summer mission trip each year since I was in the 6th grade.  I have good character and believe I am an asset on any Team I play on because I lead by example and encourage my teammates to achieve their highest potential.  Voted Defensive Player MVP in College Showcase event in 2018 and was recently voted "Best Strongside Fighter" by Teammates on High School Team - 2019.  Selected to the 2019 6A  All-Houston Team as a Sophomore.  National Honor Society inductee 2019. District 19-6A All District 2019 Season.  Varsity Letterman (as a sophomore).  National Society for High School Scholars, National Technical Honor Society.  Selected to Team Texas 2020.  Academic All District 2020.
