Working hard and achieving success at something I am passionate about motivates me. Growing up a multi-sport athlete has provided me with countless opportunities to develop discipline, perseverance, and accomplish goals, and from an early age baseball became my favorite sport. Last year was a great baseball year as I had the opportunity to compete as a sophomore at the varsity level on my class 6A high school team, travel around Texas to college campuses with my summer team, and ultimately compete at the WWBA PG showcase in Atlanta. I look forward continuing to develop and having another great year as a junior.
Faith, family, friends and baseball have shaped me into who I am today. I value the chemistry I have with my teammates as we push each other to get better. Volunteering with my high school team, international missions with my family in Haiti, and most recently Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in my hometown have all taught me to be grateful and not waste opportunities. The opportunity of college is ahead of me, and since math has always been my strength in the classroom I plan to pursue a degree in finance. My work ethic and attitude could be an asset to your college baseball program while allowing me to accomplish academic goals and continue to play the sport I love.
