Personal Statement
My goal is to make it into college and get an education and play baseball. Family and baseball has been a HUGE part of my life. I started playing baseball at a very young age, from throwing a ball around and learning to hit off the tee. As I progressed, I began to develop a love for the game and a drive to be better ball player and better person and teammate on and off the field. My baseball journey has help earn lifelong friendships with players and coaches, as well as opposing teams' players. I look forward develop the same relationships with future coaches and teammates in the years to come.
My ultimate goal is to receive a college degree in my field of choice and to play baseball at a higher level after graduating from Lexington (TX) High School. Each day I strive to be a better player than the day before, through strength and conditioning, hitting in the cage and the field, fielding, pitching mechanics and nutrition. Also, use practice and game time to work on my mental game as well.
Playing baseball at a higher level is my dream , I believe that through hard-work and perseverance that my dream can be accomplished. I feel that I can be an asset to a baseball organization at the next level, whether it be defensively, offensively or BOTH.
I look forward to this process and hearing from coaches to take my game to the next level.
