Hello, my name is Hagen Tijerina. I am a 6'5" LHP from Mabank, Texas. Class of 2024. I am a three-sport athlete and love to compete. I look forward to the possibility of playing baseball at the next level, I love the game.

- 7/12/22 HAGEN TIJERINA LHP / 1B / MABANK, TX / 2024 Tijerina came into this event as an unknown to us, but after just a few pitches he is squarely on our staff’s radar. First, Hagen has a frame to dream on. He is 6’5 with a waist up to his shoulders. He has grown a lot the last year, so as he continues to grow into his body and get stronger, Tijerina should make some big jumps. The arm action is clean, efficient and he repeats it well. His fastball peaked at 83 and as he grows into his body and learns how to use his legs more, I expect a big velocity jump. He also showed a promising breaking ball that he threw in the low 70’s that would play against Lefties and Righties. He flashed some change ups that he threw with good conviction and ASR. Tijerina is also the Quarterback at Mabank, and will be one to follow moving forward

- 11/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Highland Park (DFW), TX Hagen is a 1B/LHP prospect who will graduate high school in 2024. Tall frame stout build, with broad shoulders, and plenty of room to add more strength throughout. At 1B, he works to center the baseball, with efficient footwork, and good body control at baseball. He creates good fielding angles and fields from an athletic/square fielding position. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, with accurate/on-line throws, and an arm velocity up to 78mph. On the mound, he has a good mound presence and separates his hands on-time. Throws a FB that sits 72-75mph with some tailing action, a 1/7 shaped breaking ball with downward tilt, and a changeup with some downward tilt that he throws with FB arm speed. At the plate, he starts with an upright and closed stance. Separates his hands, with knob to C, and a good bat angle at contact. His swing is on-time and has a middle of the field approach. A flat barrel path enables him to hit spray balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 76mph. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee this 2-way prospect having a bright future on the baseball diamond.
