Ryan Rice '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’10 shortstop from Rowlett, TX and will graduate in 2020. This previous year, I started as the shortstop for my high school varsity team as a freshman. I also earned 2^nd place all-district team and I also have a 3.2 GPA.

I am very driven to improve every day, whether it be for a scrimmage, game or practice and even off the field. I take every opportunity that comes to me to provide support and leadership for my teammates. I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old. As I grew older, I realized that baseball was more than just a sport. It has taught me integrity, patience, persistence, determination, as well enhanced my ability to increase my value as a player to the team.

It is my dream to play baseball in college. I would like to be at a college that provides excellent education opportunities as well as a strong baseball program. I will continue to put forth my best efforts to utilize my talents with hopes that I will become a better player. More importantly I aspire to grow as a person who will add value to society based on my lessons learned on and off the field.
