Nicholas Ellis '24 Recruiting Profile

Baseball is a huge part of my life.  I have been playing since I was 3 years old and began travel at 8 years old.  My dream is to play baseball at the collegiate level.  I want to be a part of a team, a baseball family, where I can find my place and grow as an athlete. I am looking for a collegiate program where I will be driven both athletically and academically.  I would like to major in Medicine/Sports Medicine while in college.  I am very serious about working hard and always doing my very best.  I am a straight A student and a highly motivated athlete.  I work out many days a week doing strength and conditioning as well as arm care to ensure I am always in the best playing condition.  I was awarded the athletic MVP during my 7th and 8th grade years by my school coaching staff and received the John Connor Brown award.  This award is for one athelte that go above and beyond on and off the field.  My coaches see me as a leader and an athlete that plays with tenacity and passion.  I am currently 6'4" and weigh 230lbs.  My fastball registers in the upper 80mph range and I am constantly working to improve velocity and accuracy.  Off the field my coaches refer to me as a "Gentle Giant".  I am one of few words but always listening.  I make sure what I say build others up and makes them feel important.  I am the oldest of 4 so I understand the importance of being a strong leader and role model.  I am looking for a school where I can continue to step up as a leader and grow.
