Hunter Elrod '25 Recruiting Profile

Committed to succeed is what I want to be known for in every aspect of my life, baseball included. I'm very level headed, I don't get too high when things are going well ,or too low when things are going bad. I go out, play my hardest, and leave it all on the field. I have a very high baseball IQ. I have learned that my skills are important, however my mental game is what sets me apart from other players. 

I love a challenge and this past year I set a few athletic goals to reach outside of baseball. One was to be able to dunk a basketball, and the other was to do a standing back flip. I worked hard and accomplished both this summer. Off the field I love to go hunting and spend time at our family ranch. I also love the beach. My sister plays beach volleyball so I really enjoy playing that too. I have a job during the fall bussing tables at a local New Braunfels steakhouse. I am a hard worker and love getting to talk to all the customers. I have a great group of friends who are almost all athletes or in the top of our class academically. I like to be around other goal oriented people. I have a 3.5 GPA. My faith in Jesus Christ is a big part of who I am and what my decisions and work ethic are based upon. 

I am commited to getting to the next level and that is playing D1 college baseball. That's my next goal and I will achieve it.
