Personal Statement
Hello- My name is Michael Coleman Allison, I am a versatile student athlete at Fort Worth Christian, a TAPPA Division II high school in North Richland Hills, Texas. I started playing the game of baseball at the age of three and even though I have had success in basketball and football, baseball allows me to set ambitious goals that I am challenged with.
At this time I am a right handed pitcher, left handed batter, 1st baseman and 3rd baseman. I am open minded and know in every game, every at bat and position I play there is something valuable to learn. I believe I am an asset to my team as leader by being that consistent motivator and momentum changer. I am not your flashy player but your steady eddie player. My experiences in high school and travel baseball allow me the opportunity to grow both mentally and physically. My motto is "Never Stop Learning My Sport," there is always new skills to learn and techniques for me to adopt. I am a coachable player that is open to continuous learning to be successful.
At the end of the day most of us in life are going pro in something besides sports. However, why not try to be the exception. I will never know if I do not try! So coach, give me an opportunity and I will give you 110%.
Thanks,
Coleman Allison
