September 2017Though my experiences from playing baseball I love the challenges that the game gives me and the rewards of winning those battles. Each practice, game, or workout drives me to excel so I can win battles over the challenges that the game gives. Through this experience I am growing into a better person and a better player and I am enjoying the process. I would like to do this as long as I can, college baseball is a major step that will allow me to do this. Playing college baseball is a goal that I plan on achieving. I am looking for a coach that will fit my personality and that I will fit into his system.
The challenges have motivated me to work hard on my own. Hard work has given me a competitive mind set that has made me passionate about winning. Being the best teammate I can will help my team win. Leading by example, respecting the coaches, being there for my teammates, playing and practicing hard are some areas that I focus on that are hopefully contagious to my teammates.
I am currently 14 years old, 5'10, 167 pounds, bat left, throw right. I run and throw really well which has allowed me to play multiple positions. I am a contact hitter with homerun power, I hit 3rd - 5th in the line up. I currently just finished up my select season and was named MVP of my school team. For the rest of the summer I have registered for a number of prospect camps that I will attend until Fall where I will play Football and fall baseball.
I am looking forward to going through the process of finding a program that will be a good fit academically, athletically, and will allow me to grow spiritually and personally. I am looking for a program where I can contribute to the team as a freshman and grow into a starter by the time I am a senior. I can't wait to fulfill a dream of playing college baseball and go through the college experience that will help shape me into a better person.
